I had recently moved most of my external hardware and after replugging
everything, I discovered that my microphone was not working. I rechecked
nearly every USB port and any other wires I had disconnected, eventually it
began to work again.
I received an error from Ad-Watch saying that my preference file was
corrupted and after accepting all registry changes, I rebooted and discovered
that none of my startup programs were working (nothing was in the taskbar).
I opened msconfig in an attempt to re-enable my programs and after doing that
and a reboot, all the program entries from msconfig that I used have
disappeared.
Can anyone help me?
