startup icons

In previous versions of Windows you could configure the programs you wanted
to open in the startup menu near the clock by clicking on start, then run,
then by typing system config. I currently am running Windows XP-Professional.
I have disabled my user accounts so a login window does not appear at bootup
and the only account that boots up is the administrator. How do I customize
my startup menu so I can choose which programs I want to launch at boot up
and display icons next to the clock?

Go to run and type msconfig and click on the run tab.

This program works much better than msconfig.
