C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu



The above folder contains a number of files. Can these files be deleted?
Will they be automatically re-created?



What about the Program Folder within? Can they be deleted?



How does above folders differ from StartUp files?

These folder contain the files available to all users on the PC, if you
delete them they will disappear from your start menu. You don't need to
worry about them they are a standard default in windows.

Thanks, but what do you mean I do not have to worry about them? Is it safe
to delete them or they do no harm - do not delete lthem, leave them alone?

Hi,
I mean leave them alone. They are part of a standard windows setup. Some
programs install for all users and put settings under the allusers group.

Do not delete it, leave it alone. You can selectively delete some of
the stuff that may have been orphaned in there but if you don't
understand how the folder works it is best to leave it alone.
