Is there a setting to make Windows Mail display the Newsgroups instead of
email on startup.

Create a shortcut with the following target:

"C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\WinMail.exe" /newsonly

I also had to add "%UserProfile%" without the quotation marks in the "Start
in:" box because it defaults to "E:\Program Files\Windows Mail". Figured I'd
let you know just in case you give anyone else this tip. But it works great.
