Starting OSK with Logon-window

Hello,
I am testing with XPe on a computer without any keyboard or mouse.
The users should although login with username and password.

How can I start the on-screen keyboard (osk) with the logon-window?

I tried to develop a service, which starts the osk when it is not running.
It works. But I can't use the keyboard, because the started osk process runs
as user system.

Thanks for any hint!

the links in the start up-folder starts after the user has logged in.
But without any on-screen keyboard he can't login ;-)

Dear Matthias,

You are able to plug a keyboard first.

When login window shows, you should press "Win + U" and set OSK to start
with Utility Manager.

At the next time the system goes into this situation, the user are able
to use OSK.

PS. XPE or XPP has some limitations when using OSK on logon window.

How does it help when the osk starts with the utility manager?
I can't press win+U during the logon-screen because I have no keyboard ;-)

Dear Matthias,

You should plug the keyboard in the first time.

After the utility manager shows, you are able to set "Start
automatically when Utility Manager starts" and don't close the Utility
manager.

In the next time the system boots, it will show OSK automatically.

thanks for your reply!
I am sorry, but it doesn't work. The osk will not start with the logon-screen.

Any other ideas?

best regards

Hi Matthias,

Just a try, Could you test by putting a user in auto logon and put OSK
in Run in registry or user startup folder?

Use tweakUI program to put user to auto start when you boot the XP
Embedded.

I have tried and it works
