Starting IE Offline

There are two icons for starting IE, MSN and one from the ISP both of them go
straight to dial up without giving the option to open IE offline. Although
there is a folder for Internet explorer I have been unable to find
Iexplorer.exe file. Any ideas?

Hi Don :)

Is there no blue E icon on your desktop, or when you go to Start>Programs,
is Internet Explorer not listed there to select?

If you wish to have the blue E IE shortcut icon on your desktop there are a
few ways to do it, depending on your version of Windows and the file
location. Here are a few you can check and see which might apply to your
file location:

For XP:
Control Panel-Display Properties-Desktop tab.

or.....

Just go to Program Files>Internet Explorer>scroll down to find the
EXPLORER.EXE and right click on it, select Create Shortcut, and then copy it
to your desktop.

also......

Iconoid, free from www.sillysot.com will 'remember' your icon arrangement
for you and restore their position. It also allows customization of icons

Hope this helps

Internet Explorer = Iexplore.exe (no R on the end)

Usually found in C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer.

Thank you for the correction, got one too many rR's in the mix.
