Starting Antispyware

Every time I double click the Antispayware icon on my desktop or tray it
shows the loading banner and then disappears. It shows its running in my tray
and task manager but I can't get the program to start. Only if I uninstall
and reinstall the program will it start - but only once then back to the same
problem......any ideas?
