STARTED A LOAD BY MISTAKE

I STARTED A NEW XP OS LOAD ON MY MACHINE BY ACCIDENT. NOW WHEN I POWER UP IT GOES TO THE LOAD, HOW DO I PERMANTELY GET RID OF THIS ON MY COMPUTER

Do you have another installation of XP?

If so you can boot to the installation you want to keep, delete the
Windows folder of the other installation, and go to
Start > Run > msconfig
boot.ini tab and click 'check all paths.'
