When I start up Windows mesenger and msn headlines come up..I use the
messenger and msn home page but is there a way I can log on with out it
coming up first.. It all takes forever to boot up.

In Messenger, goto on Tools->Options->General. Uncheck "Automaticall run
Messenger when I log on to Windows" then click the 'OK' button
