Start Up File to See What Loads

Hello

I am running Windows XP Home Edition and have Desktops
for my family members. I was wanting to see what loads
when we boot up. I was familiar with the area when
running Windows 98, but have been upable to find a way to
find the LOAD line within a file for XP. I am confident
there are many files loading that are not needed, and
thus chewing up a bit of memory. Thanks for the help in
advance.

Click on START, click RUN, type in "msconfig.exe" without the quotes,
and press enter. When the configuration editor opens, click on the
STARTUP tab. From here you will be able to determine what programs
are running upon startup. You can start them or stop them by removing
or placing a check in the box that precedes the program line (name).
