Start-up error message

Dear friends,

each time I start windows XP a message appears on screen

"SUPPORT HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO SHUT
DOWN. PLEASE TELL MICROSOFT ABOUT THIS PROBLEM"

I was recently infected with the MSworm blast Virus but
removed it with patches from Norton & Microsoft. Is this
message a morsel left over from the virus and does anyone
know how to remove it?
