Y Yves Leclerc Nov 3, 2003 #4 You can only make a MS-DOS start-up floppy disk from the Format option. This start-up will not be able to "see" any NTFS based hard drives. You could check on www.bootdisk.com to see if the is notes on how to make a NTFS start-up disk (if it is at all possible). Also, the Windows XP CD should already be bootable. Y.
