Select the operating system to start

My computer on XP Home has recently recovered from a stop error and crash. I
tried recovering using "Novastor Disaster Recovery Boot Disk" which did not
work so I reinstalled XP Home.

Now I am getting the following message during start-up and I think I should
delete the three Novastor Disaster Recovery attempts but don't know how.
And how do I avoid the 30 second countdown?

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home
Edition" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Continue NovaStor Disaster
Recovery..." /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\DRWINNT.TMP="Continue NovaStor Disaster
Recovery..." /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\DRWINNT.TMP="Continue NovaStor Disaster
Recovery..." /fastdetect

Here are 2 ways (1st recommended):

1. Start > Run
Type msconfig > Click OK
Go to "BOOT.INI" tab
Click the button "Check all boot paths"
Follow the instructions to remove the invalid line. Once the invalid lines are
removed, the system will not display the menu at boot.

2. Click Start > Run > Copy/Paste the following lines and click OK:
bootcfg /delete /ID 2
bootcfg /delete /ID 2
bootcfg /delete /ID 2
bootcfg /Timeout 00

As a precaution, no matter which step you choose, run the first step again.

Thank you Ayush,

When I click the button "Check all boot paths" I get the following message
"It appears that all BOOT.INI lines for Microsoft operating systems are OK."
There are no instructions for removal.

I have pasted the first line into Run and I get the following message
"Windows cannot find “bootcfgâ€. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and
then try again. To search for a file, click the Start Button, and then click
Search."

Open Command Prompt:
Start > Run > "\Windows\system32\cmd.exe"
then run these (enter key after each) :
%systemroot%\System32\bootcfg.exe /delete /ID 2
%systemroot%\System32\bootcfg.exe /delete /ID 2
%systemroot%\System32\bootcfg.exe /delete /ID 2
%systemroot%\System32\bootcfg.exe /Timeout 00

if still no luck then :
Start > Run > Copy/Paste these :
%systemroot%\System32\attrib.exe -s -h -r "\Boot.ini"
"\Windows\notepad.exe" "\Boot.ini"
Remove everything below
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition"
/fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn
Save the file then > Start > Run :
%systemroot%\System32\attrib.exe +s +h +r "\boot.ini"
