start run is missing win xp pro

run is missing on the start. the box is selected under
customize. if i boot imto safe mode run is there. when
start is in the classic view run is there, or log on as
another user it is fine. it did work at first. i also
tried restore from a early boot.

aany help would be appreciated,

Tom,

This at times can happen from having too many items listed on the right side
of the Start Menu. If this is the case, Run is the first to go.
