Start menu went bye-bye!

My monitor crashed, and when I got it working again my
start menu won't pop up! Help!! When I minimize programs,
I also can't get the tool bar at the bottom to appear, so
after minimizing, I can't access the program... Grrrrrrrrr
 
Are you sure you didn't resize the toolbar? Try dragging it up from the
bottom.
