start menu question

Is there a way to get back the old windows 98 way of cut and paste on the
start menu? Right click on a folder or icon on the start menu now and
context menu says open, explore, delete, rename, sort by name, and
properties. What happened to cut and paste?

Even with the classic menu it doesn't give me an option to cut or paste when
I right click on a folder in the start menu. WIndows 98 used to do this.

In options | enable drag & drop.

I already have it set to drag and drop. There is not cut, copy, or paste on
the right click context menu when clicking on a folder in the start menu.

That is correct, it is not cut, copy or paste on right click context menu.

Open Explorer | go to the start menu | cut, copy and paste to your heart's content when you right click on an item.

I don't want to open explorer and do that worthless wasted time. Big flaw
in XP you should be able to right click on any folder whether it be in start
menu or anywhere else and cut, copy, or paste.
