start menu icons

just wondering why some of the programs in my startmenu
used to have icons on the left side of what the program
was, example: yahoo messanger had the smiley face icon
with th red "Y", but now this and some of the others
programs i've downloaded recently, the icons seemed to
have changed to just an icon with a normal folder. can
these be changed back to the original icon?

Because of your internet history settings. You have exceeded the time you
set there on the items that have no icon. Also you have them set to not
synchronize off-line.

starters.

It sounds as if you're referring to the recent programs
on the left hand side of the Windows XP start menu. These
change depending on what program is accessed most often
and then which program was last accessed
