Is there a way to change the column width of the START>ALL PROGRAMS menu.
I currently have four columns, and the far right column only displays part
of the program/folder names.

Thanks for your suggestion. Although I don't like or want the "scroll
programs", I did set it and later set it back to "no scroll". For some
strange reason the far right column now displays full text of
programs/folders.

AFAIK the default column width is "fit the widest entry", and you're able to
rename the entries. They're just folder and shortcut names.

The width is set by the length of the longest name in the menu. So tidy
them; right click a long item and Rename to something shorter. You
don't need lead words like Microsoft or Symantec for example; or
trailing 'Personal Edition' to be able to recognise items
