I have installed way to many programs that appear in the All Programs list.
Can the list of programs be changed from two to three columns?

I have made folders

antivir-spy-reg (antivirus spyware registry)

maint (maintenance for lil programs with special purposes)

graphics (for graphics,colors,images,paint)

etc.

depending on your need, this really helps

SingaporeWebDesign used his keyboard to write :
Hello,

The programs should continue on to a 3rd column once it fills the first 2
columns.

Bob, works well with ProgFolders too, because they
are....well...folders :)
Great for organizing

why not organize your shortcuts better by creating folders and moving common items to the folders

Hi,
why not organize your shortcuts better by creating folders and moving common items to the folders

I long time work on menu problem and in first my project I separate
programs by folders -
http://www.tidystartmenu.com

But with time I realized that is not very useful. At first you need
always cleanup start menu. At second you need remember folder where
you put program.
So I develop another project Vista Start Menu. This program resolve
problems with system start menu. And don't require folder creation for
this.

I recommend to try it :)

remember where things are is easier if you put common type programs together.
like all cd/dvd things in one folder.
