Start Button -> Show All Programs

I've installed a lot of programs over time, and I almost
always just let the installer place things where it
chooses. Now when I click the start button and
select "Show All Programs", the entire screen fills with
am alphabetized list the things I've installed split over
three columns. The problem is there is so much that only
get to the letter S so that anything beginning that
begins with the letter T and beyond never shows up. What
can I do?
1) Can I either cause this list to scroll so that it
handles more entries, or can I increase the number of
columns displayed from three to four thinner columns?
2) Are there instructions somewhere you can point me to
on how to regroup like appplications under a group folder
so that it all doesn't display at one time? I tried
changing this on my own once and really made a mess of
things. Thanks.

Use Explorer and go to c:\documents and settings\"your name"\start
menu\programs. What you see in programs is what you see on the screen. You
can manipulate them the same as folders and files. Group them any way you
want and that is what you will see on the screen.

Also be sure to look under c:\documents and settings\"All Users"\start
menu\programs
You may find even more there.

Thanks. I never thought of mentioning that because I keep everything in "all
users".
