Start button not working

My start button cannot work at all. I cant click using
either mouse or keyboard. what should i do? i am running
winxp-pro and have recently upgraded to SP2.

try rebooting your computer using task manager. (press ctrl-alt-del)
click on shutdown and take it from there.

hopefully after the reboot, your start menu should work again.

i've tried restarting a couple of times, but the problem
still persist. is there any other way without having me to
reinstall my os?
