I want install a service in XP, and try to start it. I receive an "Unable to
start the service" message. In the Event Viewer I see that the error is
"Acess Denied". This service use a folder (allow all user for total control)
and opens a PORT !!! I think this error is because this port probably isn't
enabled to access. I dont know.

What can I do for solving my problem ???

Thanks

News : I deploy a simple service, that do nothing. I tested in my machine
with an XP, and it worked. But in that XP where I have this problem, it give
me the same message "Acess Denied". Then I need know where is the place for
enabling to run the services

Do you have administrator permissions on WinXP PC where you are trying to
start the service?

Yes, I'm connecting as administrator. I tested now assign a user
(administrator) to this service, then it runs. But I think it must not be
necessary ?!?!?! because the service must run without connection....
