Standby problems

Hello. I have a SONY Vaio with Windows XP on it. My
standby function always worked on my computer until
recently. I put it into sleep and then my computer would
not come out of the sleep. What happened? Is there
something i can do to fix this?

Hi Jerry,

Whether or not it can be fixed depends on the cause. The standby function is
very touchy. Think about recently installed software, upgrades, or updates
to programs, these are the most frequent causes. Newly added hardware may
require a driver update, or may inhibit the function totally.
