Standby/Hibernation

If I believe that an XP update took away my
Hibernation/Standby options, is there anything I can do to
get them back? I know I had them last week, and my system
is 1.5 years old.

Hi,

What drivers did you install in the last week or so? One of them is
incompatible with the Standby function. You need to do a rollback on that
driver.

Reinstalling video drivers, then rebooting, often takes care of
standby problems.

Thanks to you both. Will try to get back to where I was
before this nonsense started...
