Standby/Hibernate

BlankThis may be a silly question, but.... I always put my system on standby at night and I know that just a key click or mouse move will bring it back up. I think I may want it to hibernate instead, in order to conserve some energy.. My question is.... Does it come out of hibernation the same way, or is there something else I have to do?

Thank you.

Some newer motherboards will wake from hibernation on keypress if your
computer doesn't do this then you will have to press the power button
usually.

mental exaltation." -- Sherlock Holmes
