Standby gives BLUE screen upon awakening

I can't figure out why, upon awakening my machine after manually putting in
standby, there is a blue screen with fatal error. It says, contatct
administrator, so it leads me to believe it has something to do with the NT
part of XP. Then, it dumps physical memory, and says to continue I must
shutdown, can only shutdown using hard shutdown, won't allow any input with
mouse or keyboard.

Anyone have this problem? All my settings in power options are condusive to
allow shutdown.

Post back with the hex number (0x000...) and name of the error
(LOOKS_LIKE_THIS).
