Hi folks: I installed drivers for a Acard SCSI card and I can no longer
put the computer in Standby. The card works and talks to the Acer 610s
scanner but in Device Manager it says there is a problem. Someone
suggested uninstalling the driver and this would reset things. It
didn't. In "Start" "Shutdown Computer" the Standby is greyed out. Also,
The computer won't shutdown but restarts. Restart automaticaly is not
checked in "System Failure." Any advice please. Thanks, Donald

Any answers yet? I have the same problem with a notebook
I bought two days ago and strated loading the software.
Since yesterday the stanby button is greyed out and it
only restarts, doesn't shut down...
