Standard Folder Views

In XP, when you open a folder full of MP3s, at the top
left XP will put a small window saying "Music Tasks."
With picture files, it says "Picture Tasks." Is there a
way to turn this feature off? I would like all my folders
to have the standard "File and Folder Tasks." Thanks!

right click in the My Music folder (and any other folder you want) and go to customize and change the file types contained within the folder to be documents of any type.

Right, but we're talking hundreds of folders here. What I
mean is, can the feature be turned off so XP will NEVER
assume how I want to view my folders?
