I had to reinstall xp and now when I go to shut down I no longer have the
option of going to standby which previosly i used to do and I do not know
how to get back to that configuration help required

You need to install the latest driver for your video adapter. That should
restore the Standby button.

Visit the support section of your computer manufacturer's web site to download
the correct driver for your system. While there, you might want to download
drivers for your motherboard chipset as well as the other devices installed on
your system.

thanks that was the problem just had to assign the proper driver and it now
works thx again
