stand by

i was composing an entry for a 360 blog and the system shut down , went into
stand by, im confused by this. dont even know how to make the system go to
stand by. so, my qustion is: why did my system go to stand by by itself?

Hi Jaz,

If the system is going to standby mode automatically, it might be due to the
option that is enabled. To resolve the issue, perform the following:

Go to Windows Control Panel and Turn Off Hard Disks, and System Standby all
set to “Never†in Control Panel | Power Options.

thanks i'll look into the driver issue. that might be it. my printer could be
the problem it never wants to end when i shut down. i'll see if i can get a
newer driver for it.
