Stand By/ Sleep mode

I use a Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1.1 with my Packard Bell
Xtreme 6060. Just lately when I presse the sleep buton on the keyboard, the
system starts to go into stand by/sleep or hibernate state, arfter a while
the machinejust freezzes and goes no furthe, to which I then have to use the
power button to switch the hole system down.
Can anybody help please.

Thank you for your replie, the sleep mode was working up and untill the other
day, the it just stopped but I shall give it ago and Let you know how things
turn out.
