Stand By option disabled...?

Hello NewsGroup,

Reinstalled WinXP Pro with all updates and service packs about a week ago.
I've noticed when I shut down the stand by button is disabled. What do I do
to enable it? Many Thanks,

This is often caused by using video drivers that do not properly support
ACPI. Try reinstalling or upgrading the drivers for your graphics card.

Thanks alot Dale, who would have ever thought it would ever be the graphics
card, not me anyway. I have my 'Stand By' option back again, and thanks
again.
