How do I get my computer (in stand by) not to react on mouse-movements but only on keyboard?

Depending on the type of mouse (PS/2, USB, etc.) you might
look in the BIOS in the "Wake On" area of POWER to see if
there's a setting that will do the trick.

Click on mouse in control panel--hardware tab--properties power management.
 
Some days I'm just dumber than a stump !
