Stanby Issues

When I put my PC into Standby it will always turn itself back on. The only
time this does not occur is the first time I use Standby after I've restarted
Windows.

I have defragged the hard drive and scanned for errors. I suspected the
Logitech Optical Mouse so I uninstalled the software for it, I even unplugged
the mouse before going to standby, no change.

Can someone help me resolve this problem?

While I can't be sure of the cause of this problem - by far the most common
problems with Standby/Hibernation are from corrupt video drivers. Update
your video drivers to the latest WHQL version (because WHQL drivers are
certified, by Microsoft, to work with Windows).

See if that helps!
