If I am downloading an excel file using HTTPS page, is
the excel file secure in the transmission. Meaning, can
someone with a sniffer grab my excel file and be able to
read it.

The file is fairly secure and is encrypted. Normal packet sniffing cannot
determine what is in the file.

Andy.

I should add that if you are passing through an ISA server that has been
configured for SSL bridging, it is possible (but highly unlikely) that the
admin of that server could intercept your file.
