I've just spent a miserable two days trying to get a snapscan S500 from
fujitsu to work. I says when I instal the software that the sRGB engine has
failed to initialise. I did have a HP precision scan jet connected before but
cleared the software out and used registry cleaners and other programs to
erradicate the traces.
When I go to scanners and cameras in the control panel the snapscan is there
but their apears no profile for colour management connected. Frankly I'm at a
loss . Does anyone have any options/suggestions that does not require use of
a hammer
