Sreaming video

I have just reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled
XP. My problem is that the video wont load when using
internet explorer. I have a small white square in the
upper left hand side of the area where the video would
normally be. (there is a small red x in the white box)
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked your firewall?

What about Windows update? There are probably some
current WMP updates worth getting ...

what is your connection? 56K? broadband?
