Spyware

Hi,

I have got a pesky program that is down the bottom corner of the screen next
to the clock running and if you click it will lead to a site about removing
spyware (Spy Locked 3.0). It also about every 60 seconds pops up and says
that my computer has spyware or malicous software. I couldn't delete the
files in program files but I booted it up in safe mode and was able to delete
the files. BUT it was running in safe mode when nothijng else was and is
still running. So those files are fake! It must be somewhere else in the
system. Is there someway to get rid of this execpt for reinstalling windows
xp. I have also got windows defender all the updates and of course my windows
firewall on. I'd say that it pigee backed on to my computer with a file I
downloaded.

Thanks,
Computer Dude

Next time please make a new post about your problem instead of injecting
it into someone else's thread.
