Yes--the program help does recommend that you turn off other real-time
protection from spyware programs during the installation.

Which begs the question, does MSAS "play well" with an app. with real time
protection like SpyBot S&D's "tea timer"?

I don't think I've seen any reports here of conflicts when running multiple
real-time spyware protection apps.

That was why the "Yes" at the beginning of that answer <g>

I haven't tested this myself, however, and my recall isn't perfect--but
there are enough folks here who would be using such products that I think
the collective "we" would know about an obvious conflict.
