Different antispyware applications detect threats differently.

Microsoft Antispyware does not scan for spyware-related cookies.

Best practices, at this point, if you are concerned about cookies, are using
more than one product. There isn't any industry-wide sharing of information
about definitions at this point either--so using multiple products makes
sense from several standpoints.

Yes, it is possible. I have three and feel it is worth
the effort.

Hello,

It is still possible that adaware find spyware that not is
reconized by the microsoft anti-spyware in this case
report it to spynet, spybot can also detect a lot of
spyware beware of false positives send always an detection
to spynet. But remember the best anti-spyware can
sometimes fail to detect while another it well detects.
