Why is it!!!!

Why is it that Spybot S&D and ADaware always find and
delete spyware everytime I run it BUT Microsoft Spyware
never does??
I run MS Spyware every morning and it never finds anything.
I have everything in MS Spyware set to max. I can run the
two above mentioned programs immediately after MS and they
almost always find something.

Hello Rony,

MSAS dont look for cookies and that is what the others found!
MSAS does a great job so far but still Beta.

Since I started running MS AntiSpyware I haven't had any spyware
infestations on my machine. As others point out products like Spybot S&D
(which I run periodically) and AdAware do occasionally find cookies that
they don't like. But cookies are questionable as Spyware and can be
defeated by other means (for example, I clear out all cookies except those
associated with a few sites every day using Webroot Window Washer). When I
say questionable it is because things like Spybot S&D and AdAware consider
many legitimate cookies to be Spyware.

Note that MS AntiSpyware has a cookie cleaner as part of it's advanced
tools. But it doesn't have the ability to list cookies that you don't want
cleaned out. If Microsoft enhances that before release then it would be a
great addition to the product.

Hi Rony,
Betcha it's cookies.

In the Beta1 version, the program doesn't go into the cookie jar, nor does
it chase data miner objects.
