Spyware unremovable

I am running Windows XP Pro. Somehow, a software icon got
to my control panel, its name is "WildTangent" I have
uninstalled it using remove software, and also I have
deleted the icon from the Windows System, but when I try
to remove the icon from the Control Panel, the Delete
word on the drop down menue is greyed out. Is there a way
of deleting the icon from the Control Panel?
Thank You,
Dago.

Try hitting F8 on boot up and choose Safe mode without
networking. Once you are at your desktop, try it then.
Also, download Ad-Aware. It will clean everything that is
junk/spyware/tracking cookies. Keep us posted!

Chout,

No luck, I tryed to remove the icon under Safe Mode, but
with the same result. I had used Spybot, that didn't work
ider. Let me know if you can come up with something else.
Thank You
