How do I get rid of the odious junk that lop.com sends
me, ie pop up windows and especially, a double sized tool
bar at the bottom of IE page. Even after I log off
toolbar stays. I have run spybot, but to no avail.
Please help me, it's driving me nuts. Thank you.

Jane,

If you installed MessengerPlus 3 with the "sponsor program" than this is
where Lop originated from. If this is the case, uninstall Mess.Plus3,
reinstall it without the "sponsor program".

If that is not the case, suggest you check to see if there are any
updates for MSAS and Spybot first, then scan the system with both
programs in Normal mode. Reboot to Safe Mode and scan the system with
both once more.
