Every time I start up IE6, I get a lop.com toolbar at the
bottom of the window. It also adds the lop.com and
prosearching.com web sites to my list of allowed sites for
pop-ups. How do I get rid of both? I have an adware
blocking program, but it doens't seem to be working.

Spyware doctor do a google search look in add/remove progs in control pannel
too for an uninstall
 
Supposedly, the LOP.COM home page has removal instructions on it somewhere.
Since you're already infected you might try there first.
 
Thanks. Yhe Lop.com web site had instructions that I must
have missed before.
 
I tried to download that uninstall file for lop.com, but my computer won't
download it, saying somthing about my securty setting. Also my Ad-aware
programs won't run anymore. I have already tried installing it again, but it
doesn't work anymore
