Spyware Issue

I use the Anti spyware scanner that i downloaded from microsoft.com and
everytime i do a scan, it keeps finding the same piece of spyware despite
many deleting and quarentine attempts. I cant seem to get rid of it. Any
ideas as to how i can go about getting rid of it? The path description is:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ALTNET "

This website has an ad for it's spyware removal software, but also
instructions to remove altnet.

You are editing the registry, so be careful to follow the steps exactly.
Create a restore point if necessary.
