Found this post in a newsgroup:

"Logged onto the computer under the user where the spyware was originally
installed, and deleted them from there.

It seems even if you are an admin on the computer, if the Altnet stuff was
installed in another user account, you can only delete the Altnet regkeys
from their account, not your own."

I know it is frustrating, but I am looking for a solution for you. Someone
posted that they also could not delete the registry entry, here is the
solution provided for them:

Right-click the Registry key in the left window > Permissions. You can
change the access level here.

Oh ok, thanks, but when i get to the "permissions"
so what do I change the access levels too?
thanks for the help

Not 100% sure about this, but you should be able to give Owner full
permissions by highlighting and checking full permissions and then delete it
