I have a 2000 Domain Controller and I am looking for
something to eliminate spyware at the server level. Does
anyone have a suggestion? It could be hardware or
software. Thanks

Domain controllers should not be used for general web browsing activity. I think
you should consider implementing the higher security settings that Windows 2003
has in a default installation where the internet zone has a security level of
high and add needed sites such as Microsoft.com to the trusted web content zone
where security should be set to medium. Of course keeping current on critical
updates is important also. See the link below for details of how Internet
Explorer Security is configured in Windows 2003. Of course running one of the
popular programs such as AdAware occasionally will help keeping spyware in check
if any gets through as will a firewall with a default block all rule for
outbound access, with rules created for needed exceptions.--- Steve
