What have you tried?
What is your browser?
What is your operating system?

I have used spybot, and adaware.
Both very good, I find most spybot users when they click on Immunize
after updates, & they get the message that not all the files are
loaded, don't go to the other Immunze at the top & click that.

This also is very good.

For preventitive, only use 1 of these 4 programs.

I have used spybot, and adaware. ie6sp1, xp2 pro.

Realizing there will never be total agreement on this kind of topic, I
think the general feeling is that a combination of Spybot and Adaware
along with a good virus checker and firewall (and practicing common
sense "safe hex") covers you pretty well. Finding more entries with
another program isn't necessarily an indication that Spybot and
Adaware are "missing" some threat. It's more of a philosophical issue
as to what constitutes undesirable files or entries.

Specific to your question though, you might consider WinPatrol:

http://www.winpatrol.com/

The basic version is free. I have it, but don't use it regularly
because I like to keep background processes to a minimum. For "belt
AND suspenders" people, though, it's a highly regarded program.

I also like (and use) IE Privacy Keeper:

http://www.browsertools.net/IE-Privacy-Keeper/index.html

I have the cleanup notification window turned off, so it does its
thing transparently whenever I close the last browser window. VERY
configurable in the way it works and what it cleans. Works with
Firefox also.

Sue, sometimes these kinds of utilities and programs will find things not
really there just to make you purchase. The Doctor is one of them, as is
Panda That's why I don't use the Doctor or trust Panda. There are others
that do this to the unaware also. Unless the folks who make this program
have changed their ways, check out the registry for yourself if you can via
Google references to your problems that the Doctor haunts you with.
