Last week I read a newsgroup question about a similar problem i was having.
the advice was to download spyware doctor, which i did for free, and it works
great. My computer was fixed and running great. My question is how can i
find the site again to down load spyware doctor for a friend. His computer
is having similar problems and I think this program will work for him. When
i went to their site it told me to pay money. How can he download it for
free?

Yes actually I did but it didn't give me the free version that i downloaded.
It scanned the computer but then said you had to buy the prgram to actually
fix the problems. Got any other ideas?

Does the link for this spyware doctor make you register for the product
before it cleans the computer? The one I downloaded on my computer I never
registered for and it works. I believe the link you gave me will require a
registration code before it will fix anything on the computer and the code
you have to pay for.

The page CLEARLY says the version you will be downloading is FREE.

It /doesn't/ say whether it will fix what it finds without purchasing it.

You are correct it say that it is free to download and scan but after it runs
the scan it says that you have to pay to fix your problems. That is my
dilema. When I myself downloaded spyware doctor the entire thing was free
and I still haven't purchased anything. That is what I am trying to get and
I dont know if its available anymore...

The page CLEARLY says the version you will be downloading is FREE.

But it also states that;
" Download the latest version of Spyware Doctor and scan your
PC...............Please note the trail version is limited to scan only"
