Spyware and Remote Desktop Software

Can I disable all the Remote Desktop software so that
people on my network (esp. the system Administrators)
cannot access my computer and pry into what I am doing.

I know that there is a RDP port which Windows remote
desktop uses however what about programs like VNC, etc.

Microsoft Antispyware should detect and allow you to remove any such
software which can be present and active without your knowledge and assent.
It definitely does this with VNC. It does not call out the Remote Desktop
and Remote Assistance features of Windows XP because these features are
carefully built with regard to privacy concerns and cannot be used without
your clear knowledge and consent.

There are a large number of "remote administration" tools which have this
kind of functionality. As far as I know, they are detected by Microsoft
Antispyware.

When Microsoft releases a corporate managed version of Microsoft
Antispyware, I would expect that to enable management to shield the presence
of this kind of administrative tool from the users.
